Soundtraffik is a 3 piece rock electro band from the Gold Coast Australia. In 2007 Soundtraffik was found by Ben and Giv, later in 2009 Jason was announced as the lead singer of Soundtraffik.
Ben
Is producer, composer, songwriter and occasioanl guitar player . He studied classical music and started playing the piano as a private study at the age of 10 with Ferdinand Beyer. He is primarily songwriter, producer and often composing themes, melodies and orchestral parts of the songs. However, he plays guitar melodies and solos influenced by Troy Stetina. Ben originally used Godin guitars (LGXT 3 Voices) but he has recently endorsed ESP Guitar. More on Ben....
Giv
Plays drums and has solid background in production. He has been DJ-ing for a decade and has owned and managed Toomba Record on the Gold Coast for half a decade. He has been directing Soundtraffik from early days and been major influence since. He has been holding very strong residencies at iconic clubs such as Elsewhere (Gold Coast), La La Land (Byron Bay), Berlin Bar, Baja, Empire (Brisbane) and having guest appearances at a large variety of clubs across Australia.
Jason
Adelaide born in 79, Jason decided to move to the Gold Coast. He plays guitar and looks after all the main and backing vocals in the band. His meeting with SoundTraffik was inevitable! Playing In Bands since early high school, Jason is now the lead vocalist of SoundTraffik. Consistently developing his sound and musical integrity, Jason has been playing music now for 20 years. After five years working in a studio environment, recording and mixing his own original material, Jason Decided to take a busking road trip up the east coast of Australia. Having performed to literally thousands of people, it was out the front of the ‘Hard Rock Cafe’ in Surfers Paradise that Jason was discovered for SoundTraffik by Ben. Since then he has been writing/Singing/ and producing what we currently hear today as SoundTraffik’s repitoir.
